Not quite as advertised.
I purchased this item based on the description.
Unfortunately I had to return it as it does not cut fishing line.
The pliers and handle have a nice feel so if line cutting is
not important, it should suit you fine.

NICE BUT CLIP TO KEEP CLOSED NEVER WORKED
ONCE I OPENED IT TO SEE THE TOOL FLEX IT DIDNT CLIP IN AND BOY I AM HARD HEADED SO BELIEVE ME I TRIED FORCING IT BUT I HAVENT USED IT YET BUT IT SEEMS ARIGHT FOR THE PRICE ITS A GIFT FOR MY UNCLE BUT DON T WANNA GIVE IT TO HIM NOW SINCE ITS NOT COMPLETE LIKE IT DOESNT FUNCTION TO ITS FULL ASSUMED CAPABILITY 2010-06-11
Premium stainless steel fishing pliers
The pliers are nice, I like the mechanism that locks them shut when not in use. I am somewhat dissatified that the line cutter on the pliers does not work. I would not have purchased them if I had known of this short coming in advance. The description does say "line cutter", don't believe it! 2010-03-23
