Great binoculars but beware hand/arm shake
Attention theater- and concertgoers: After carefully reading the reviews of these Bushnell 12x25 compact binoculars and the Bushnell 8x21s (see my review under that heading), I couldn't decide which would be better for a recent trip to New York, so ended up buying both. My wife and I tried both pairs and agreed that we preferred the lower magnification pair. These, like the 8x21s, are superb quality for the price and truly enhance one's enjoyment of concerts or plays from the nosebleed section. They're easy to focus and the carrying case is handy. The only caveat is that without a tripod or something else to lean on, it's hard to hold them steady for any length of time. For that reason alone, we'd recommend the 8x21s. But birders might of course prefer the higher magnification. An excellent and cheap pair of compact binoculars. 2009-01-06

THE PRICE PROS BAD, BINOCULARS GOOD (probably)
I'm sure this product is amazing. But the seller, The Price Pros, mailed me scouring sticks instead and are refusing to acknowledge the many emails and phone calls I've left them.
Get these binoculars! They're probably great. I mean... look at their picture. They LOOK great. I would... I did -They just haven't come yet and for all I know never will because the seller, The Price Pros, don't have the balls to answer emails or phone calls . DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THE PRICE PROS!!!!!!

Great power, good value.
I bought these binocs for casual use, and they're great for that! I leave them in the side of my hiking bag... they're light and take up barely any room. 12x power is very nice for such a compact design. Optics are good but not amazing. For $20, these are unbeatable value. 2008-11-10

Good product for price
Actually I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the product.
I had very low expectations for $20 dollar binocular.
Only problem I have with this is 12x magnification. I should have bought 10x... or 8x. I don't have shaky hands but everything that you look at, shake so much it hurts my eyes after using more than 5 minutes at a time.

I CAN SEE!!!
I "flag" sports car races (stand on the side of a road course race track and communicate with drivers using flags). As I have improved (aged), it has become more difficult to see winnie little car numbers from a distance. My 10 year old Bushell 8x21 compact binoculars had taken MANY headers to the ground, been rained on (yeah, sports cars race in the rain) and generally been neglected (why should they be any different from me). They finally gave up the ghost. The new 12x25's REALLY pull in the car numbers VERY WELL. They are very well constructed and adjust easily, however they seem to need re-adjusting each time, but that may be just me. At $19.95 ... well, I AM VERY PLEASED !!!
ps My new binoculars took their first tumble last weekend (their 3rd race and it WAS raining), and "kept on tickin".
