Great Product
We bought (2) of the bipods for my wifes 223 and my 7.62x39. They were easy to install, I enjoy the fact you can fold the legs either forward or back giving you a choice. Easy set up of legs, they hold thier adjustment, and very steady while shooting. Great value for the bipod, exceeded our expectations!

Great product
For the price of this bi-pod, you can't go wrong. Sturdy, just the right height for bench shooting. I use it both on my custom 10/22 LR and my 93R17 BTV HMR. Looks sharp, I like the slight rotation as well.

Great bang for the buck bipod - works great with my rifle
I have this installed on my mosin nagant which has the ATI stock on it. I had to use the swivel mount which was very easy to install using a small flat screwdriver.

The other reviews here gave this a bad review based on the amazon.com description, it appears that since then, the description has been updated.

I give this 5 stars as it's comparable in quality to a harris bi pod which is 2x the quality. If you want something longer for an AR with 30 rounds, then you can get the UTG with the longer reach. This one is perfect for my mosin. The ex-tenable legs only go another 1/2 inch and I barely use them. The legs adjust with the twist. Putting them back up to retract is a two hand affair, but extention is one handed.

You can also fold the legs with one hand as well pretty easily.

The sling mount that comes wiht it is pretty heavy duty. It basically uses a screw that goes through the hole, and extends your sling mount while adding in a short weaver rail, pretty neat. With my bipod attached and the legs out, it wobbles very little and would not effect shooting.

The one negative is that it's a bit on the heavy side, but again for the money it's good value.

Poor machining
This bipod came with a poorly machined swivel stud adapter. It's just ever-so-slightly bad enough to keep me from being able to pass the fastening bolt cleanly through the swivel stud on my new rifle and get it started in the grooves of the smaller hole on the opposite side of the adapter. Tried for more than 90 minutes, not including a trip to the hardware store for a better precision screwdriver. If I had a gun vise, I could lock down the rifle and probably get enough leverage to wrestle the tiny fastening bolt into the grooves. In my lap or on a table, it's not happening without major risk of the screwdriver slipping off the tiny bolt and gouging my rifle stock. I'm flipping FURIOUS! The bipod itself appears quite solid and well-functioning (after a couple squirts of WD-40 on the moving areas), but the low-quality machining of the swivel stud adapter forces me to downgrade this product to two stars. Shame on me for expecting better of a cheap Chinese product, you get what you pay for.

Low profile bipod
What a great bipod so far. It is perfect for my .22 (because the .22 has a short mag) and I even think I might get one for one of my hunting rifles. It came out of the box "well oiled", and I mean have a cloth handy to wipe it down. It is not the lightest pod out there, but it is fairly light (really light for the money). It has two parts and the first attaches a picatinny rail to your front lug, but it has its own lug so you can still attach a sling. The pod itself attaches to a picatinny rail (so if you already have one, under the gun, you are ready to rock and roll).

My criticism: the "hight" adjustment feature is nonexistent. Seeing as it only allows for about an inch in adjustment, it is for dealing with uneven surfaces and should be advertised differently. I would worry about reliability of operation in sand (I mean corse/rock-like sand, not just dirt). If you are going to operate this so that sand gets into the joins you might have a lock up to the point that you will have to take a tooth brush and a tooth pic to clean it.
